Intern (2 Positions)
Master's Men Africa (MMA) is a Christian men's marketplace outreach organization that mobilizes men into knowing Jesus and serving Him and their communities. Duration: 6 months. Reports to: Director. This position is open to men only.
Role Overview:
As an Intern, you will actively engage existing and new men in the MMA programs through one-on-one sessions, social media promotion and telephone communication, while participating in MMA fellowships and growing through life-changing relationships with other men pursuing Christ.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in visits to MMA Chapters (small group fellowships) and help draft clear, structured field visit summaries.
- Coordinate events, ensuring program effectiveness and the distribution of resources.
- Gather timely feedback during meetings and outdoor events and maintain proper documentation.
- Enhance awareness of fellowship opportunities to men from diverse settings and professions.
- Regularly attend and support the coordinator of an assigned MMA Chapter weekly fellowship.
Education, Experience & Skills:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Theology and Missions, Social Work, International Relations, International Development, Sustainable Development or related fields.
- Strong written and spoken English; able to create simple visual aids for reports and presentations.
- Works well in teams, demonstrates curiosity, and adapts to feedback while learning new tools.
- Well-versed with social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter).
- Prioritizes tasks, meets deadlines and handles multiple assignments with attention to detail.
- A Kenyan resident in Nairobi, Kiambu, Kajiado or Machakos county (foreign applicants must hold the requisite Kenyan work permits).
Competencies:
- Exceptional attitude and customer-service skills with the ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
