James Wanjiru was born and raised in Korogocho informal settlement. He is proud member of Master’s Men Africa since 2010. Through Master’s Men Africa. James has got positive energy to transform his community through the leadership skills he is acquiring at MMA. James is a good role model to most young people in his community, a good community mobilizer
He runs a community organization for Children with disability. He also sits in as board of management at Gakurwe Girls High School Murang’a County. He is a committee member of Murang’a County Education forum and has initiated and lobbied for various projects in his community.
James, being a former street boy in the streets of Nairobi, interacts very well with street families and men in the streets and those still in drugs abuse and addiction.
